There is nothing like waking up on the morning after the Met Gala and looking at all the incredible dresses that your favorite celebs sported. While some needed to be incarcerated by the fashion police, others took our breath away.
Here are a few room designs inspired by our favorite Met Gala looks:
1) Blake Lively. Need we say more? 2) The use of champagne-pink and glitzy gold in this space screams girly glam. Blake’s silky material inspired sleek textures throughout the bedroom. A pop of floral red is the perfect finishing touch.
Adriana’s simple sophistication and girly flare inspired this next space. If you couldn’t already tell, we really love accented neutral schemes at Andrea Noel Designs. When the hounds-tooth meets this royal blue, the whole room pops. The sparkling touch of the crystal chandelier does wonders as well.
Rachel McAdams looks so fab in this dress that we’d be stupid to not design around it. This dining room design features all the glam of the 1920s while preserving a modern feel. Pulling the gold and shimmery bronze from the gown was an awesome way to enrich the room.
Sure inspiration can be found “anywhere”, but really does it get any better than the top looks from each years’ Met Gala?!?!? Next time you think about re-designing, don’t be afraid to pull inspiration from other places, like the fashion industry!
Until next Thursday…
