We’ve been teasing exciting things that have been in the works for a while, but we are finally ready to share the BIG news.
(well, there’s more to come, but
we ok I, can’t take it any longer.)
Almost 6 years ago, my husband Richard encouraged me as a stay-at-home Mom, to take my part time business and passion for design and see where it would go. I was nervous and intimidated, but with unwavering support from my parents, family and friends we decided to go for it. Beyond my wildest expectations, it wasn’t very long before Rik joined me to support the vision we had for my growing business. Not to mention our loud, crazy, Italian household is filled with three active, young boys that continue to keep us on our toes. There has truly never been a dull moment as we navigate the adventure of work-life-balance and a growing business.
One intern working with us at our dining table soon grew to a home office with two amazing women (shout out to my dearest Shelle & Jana) that are still next to us today, now we are getting ready to move into our third and largest office, as we continue to need more space because of our fantastic and expanding team. Even as I type this, I’m almost flabbergasted at how far we have come in such a short amount of time. Long hours, literal blood, sweat and tears and here we are! Growing organically, designing for wonderful clients across Florida and working harder everyday at the vision Richard and I have had for this design business since the beginning has been more than I anticipated.
Ok….the big news, well, it’s coming, I promise….
So, in the name of teamwork, growth and change we decided to re-brand. Not even 6 years in, and a re-brand? I know it may seem completely un-necessary but this company is so much more than just ME and Interior Design….(also, no one can say “Andrea” right (pronounced “Aun-dree-ah”…..THANKS Mom! xo).
Richard (aka: “Rik”) who has been my unwavering partner in life has now become the organization, technology pushing, accounting guru and force behind everything we do, and of course my business partner. He facilitates daily operations, brings us prosecco on Wednesdays, assists my parents in their business and not to mention, all my crazy ideas (stay tuned, because he’s got some big news to share too!)
In addition to Rik, the design team and I, there are two other special people that make this wheel turn. My beautiful and talanted sister, Carli who heads up our social media and does most of the blogging while in school for Interior Design at FSU and Rik’s brother, Ian, who has been a huge part in creating our BIG NEWS. He is tirelessly working to revamp our website,
ignore (cough) appease my never ending search for the “perfect font” and gearing up to unveil more exciting additions. (hint: who wants to shop our looks?!?!)
You see, there is so much reason and thought behind what we do, esthetically and functionally, but also in the sense of family and a passion for design and creativeness that is in our blood and motivates us each day.
1. transitive verb (giustificare)
to give reasons for
2. masculine noun: (disegno)
The motive of how this all started and why we continue to work and grow our brand as a family has always been so important to us. I love the constant reminder of our ‘motive’ in business and reasons behind the designs. It is the joy on a client’s face when we reveal their new home, the excitement of seeing a baby in their nursery that was imagined just for them for the first time and the satisfaction of a big transformation after a tiring remodel. (And it had to be Italian, as tribute to our second home, heritage and because pasta and wine, duh.) We could’t let go of the quadrifoglio logo our friends designed for us that started it all, so this new logo and name is a natural progression into our larger brand that is to come, including dream outdoor living spaces, a line of curated finish materials, webisodes and more….
We hope that you join in our excitement and follow us along on this journey, we are grateful for all the love and support and we are committed to continuing to serve all that share the same desire for #luxuryinteriors that are #designed4life
